• Dowsett et al. 2021: Yorktown Formation was deposited during the mid-Piacenzian Warm Period (3.264 to 3.025 Ma). Maximum age ranges of the Rushmere Member are 3.3.–3.2 Ma, and for the Morgarts Beach Member are 3.2–3.15 Ma.
